Gina Connor
Gina was in school to become a teacher when she was referred to a large underwriting company working in Property and Casualty, but only for a few weeks. She was recruited by the aviation team there in a clerical position and quickly moved up into an Assistant Underwriting role. Gina worked alongside one of the more well-known aviation underwriters in the helicopter and fixed wing and liability space. She has always been actively involved in training new people in the industry.
After years 22 years working as an Assistant Underwriter, she was promoted into an Underwriting role. As the company she worked for shifted, she sought out an opportunity to continue working in the industry but was interested in learning the broker side.
Gina’s expertise, attitude and background has proven to be a great benefit to Pik West clients.
